Nine Below Zero

For three decades Nine Below Zero have delivered an explosive mix of blues & rock in live performances that never fail to leave their audiences illuminated and exhausted.

The definitive line-up of this tightest of live bands has been in place for eighteen years, and they play with a discipline that only experience & confidence brings. After thousands of shows together, this incendiary on-stage chemistry has enabled Nine Below Zero to sell-out venues all over Europe.

The six albums Nine Below Zero recorded for A&M, Warner Music and EMI between 1979 and 1995 brought chart success and media attention. However, in 1997 the band decided to take control of their own affairs, and have since quietly built their own Zed Records into a solid business, releasing four albums and two DVD’s in the process.

Previous tours with The Who, The Kinks, Eric Clapton, Sting and Chuck Berry, amongst many others, have left their indelible mark, and these eclectic influences are hinted at on several of the tracks heard on their albums.

Eddie and the Hot Rods

Eddie and the Hot Rods began life in 1976, when four teenagers from Southend on Sea got together and playing their own style of fast energetic rock and roll / r'n'b, were soon a big hit on the London pubrock scene.

Catching the eyes and ears of the music press and the major record companies, they were soon signed up by the legendary Island Records and went on to have three hit albums and four top forty UK singles including the Top Ten hit 'Do Anything You Wanna Do'. There have been numerous TV appearances worldwide and they have filled almost every major venue in the UK. A success in the USA too, they have toured alongside The Ramones, Tom Petty, The Police, Squeeze and Talking Heads.

After over a decade of touring, and with various members of the band involved in other projects (Paul Gray - UFO/The Damned: Barrie Masters - The Inmates: Graeme Douglas - The Kursaal Flyers: Steve Nichol - One the Juggler...), the Hot Rods slowly ground a halt and for a few years there were only occasional reformations involving several line-ups. However, throughout the changes, one man remained a constant - the 'very Rock n Roll' Barrie Masters and in 2000 the band were asked to take part in a 76 date tour of the UK alongside Dr. Feelgood, John Otway and The Hamsters. Barrie reconditioned his Hot Rods and the tour was a great success.

The band have been back in demand ever since, touring all over the world including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Croatia, Czech Republic and Poland, as well as three successful tours of the USA in 2006, 2008 and 2009 with another planned for May 2011.

The Chris Stuckey Band

For them music is a way of life, it has never been a hobby, and his musical search for the three T's,[Tone,Taste and Tenacity] has been a long and winding journey, [or is that a long winded journey?]

Songwriter, singer, frontman, bandleader, guitar slinger, multi-instrumentalist and solo performer, Chris has been treading the boards for over 25 years after starting out busking and playing beach parties, BBQs, college parties, in fact anywhere it was possible to get up in front of people and strum and warble songs. "Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music !"

Over the years Chris has built up a formidable reputation as an uncompromising frontman [both as a bandleader and as a solo artiste] and the present band line-up is by far the best band Chris has ever assembled.

The same group of musicians are involved in all the projects which include the music of Chris Stuckey, Rory Gallagher tribute band SHINKICKER and regular work performing a wide variety of music to cater to pubs, hotels, clubs and private functions as the band for all occasions, the A.C. COBRAS.
