The Rolling Stones - very nice part set of autographs from 1965, including Brain Jones, the only one that is missing is Mick Jagger, as he was in a mood and would not sign any autographs that night. The autographs were collected by a teenage young lady who at the time work at the De Montford Hall, Leicester, so dated at about 13th October 1965. The four signatures are all signed in pen on a yellow page from an autograph album, size of page about 130mm x 100mm, idea for framing with a good period picture.

The Rolling Stones - Full set of genuine Rolling Stones autographs from 1964, ex-Christies Lot [Christies London, 1st July 2009, page 20, lot number 88]. This full set of Stones autographs are on a sheet of white headed 'The Rolling Stones' note paper. The Rolling Stones signed and dedicated in blue ballpoint pen To Diane, Love Brian Jones, additionally signed in blue ballpoint pen by Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts, and in pencil by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. The note paper measures 7" x 8" [17.7cm x 20.2cm] and has been folded. According to the vendor these signatures were acquired when visiting a friend who worked as a fan club secretary at the Stones' offices in Soho, London. She was invited to take part in a film shoot with The Stones in the foyer of the London Palladium Theatre. The American comedian 'Red Skelton' was also featured in this film, and she obtained The Stones autographs on returning to the fan club offices after the shoot. Her friend also appears with Bill Wyman on page 10 of The Rolling Stones monthly [page 10 of issue No.2, 10th July 1964], which a copy is also included, along with a letter from Diane, and a copy of the page from the Christies Catalogue. This is a very nice set of Stones autographs with a very good provenance as well. The signatures are in EX condition, very clear and bold, the signed note paper would look great framed up with a period picture.

Very clearly signed on the front gold coloured sleeve, although the images do not come out too clearly due to the fact of the gold covered sleeve. Very rare and hard to find full set of signitures.
